We serve absolutely the best restoration in the world, with whipped cream and a cherry.
1. Disassembly The machine is taken apart screw by screw, part by part, and photos are taken as the machine is disassembled down to an empty shell. The entire photo history of the restoration of your personal soda machine will be posted on the Internet as it happens. Every part down to the last screw is sorted and retained for a future reference. All identical replacement reproduction parts available will be used in the restoration of your machine and these parts will be not only cosmetically and structurally identical to the original part, but the part will be returned to the same location during reassembly. The use of incorrect replacement parts devalues your machine. Not every machine that we receive is structurally and cosmetically complete. Over the years there may have been a few innovative mechanics remove or readjust parts on your machine. These adjustments sometimes cause the machine to either limp along or not work at all as originally intended. Some restoration companies that do not own a factory correct machine to look at, fail to correct these problems during reassembly. This is where our room of unaltered machines comes in handy. Your machine will always be compared to a factory correct model during reassembly. Taking apart a Vendo 39 down to the cabinet- Click here!

2. Sandblasting Before the machine cabinet is sandblasted, photos are taken of the disassembled shell. All parts are sandblasted – the shell, inside rack, tank liner, shelves, etc. The inside galvanized parts will go through a second stage of sandblasting just before the powder coat process begins.
3. Painting the Shell You’ve heard the saying, "If you can’t run with the big dogs, stay on the porch." Well - Our Competition is so far behind here - They think they are first!
If you cant run with the Big Dogs Stay on the Porch! - Click here!
At this stage of the game, we run away from the pack. !
We are Way Beyond the Porch at this Point!! - Click here!
It is important to remember that each customer has his or her input during this stage. Over the years, vending machine manufacturers, as well as local independent vending companies, have repainted and refurbished soda machines using several different shades of the same color altering the machine’s factory correct color scheme. Some customers prefer that their machine be returned to its original factory state during restoration. Whether you prefer original, two-tone, thirty’s, forty’s, fifty’s, sixties or seventies flair, your wishes will be honored and we are here to assist you anyway we can. Something that is very important to mention here because it really separates us from the pack. We do not use decals on the outside of your machine. Believe it or not, all the lettering on the outside of your machine is completely returned to its original state, size, and color with paint. Look hard at each restored machine’s photo on our website. Everything is painted on your machine exactly like it was when the machine left the factory. Every embossed logo and all embossed and unembossed lettering is painted on using exactly the same process that the factory would have used when they themselves painted the machine over 40 plus years ago. No other restoration company in the world does this. It is much more expensive and time consuming to do it this way, but how else can you be the best? We use a two-stage paint process combined with the highest grade base coat and clear coat money can buy. Hard to reach corners of the cabinet that usually get a road guard treatment or are completely ignored by other restoration companies are given special attention during our paint restoration process. When you run your hand across our lettering you will be unable to feel the letters, and our paint process stands the test of time and elements. Restored paint surfaces that do not use screen painted letters will show signs of age after about five years. Most stick-on vinyl letters do not match the adjacent painted surfaces, and are not historically correct. Complicated graphics such as bottle crowns or character figures are reproduced for us by licensed companies and can be added to the machine during the painting process under UV protection clear coat.
You will not find any photos of any crooked, sideways decals on our website. We have been buying and selling antique soda machines for 15 years and we currently have in house over 700 original examples. We cannot remember one original example over a fifteen year period of a hand holding a bottle decal turned at an angle. We think that some restoration companies have confused the bottle without a hand on the front of a Vendo 144 with the hand holding the bottle decal that is usually found on Vendo 39, Chest Coolers, Vendo 81’s, Cavalier machines, Vendolator, etc. The bottle without a hand on the Vendo 144 does lean to one side, however it is part of a well lettered very symmetrical advertising sign. In our showroom of seven hundred machines, every hand holding a bottle original decal on every original machine from a Victor Cooler Grille to a Vendolator-340 is perfectly upright from the factory. We have made an extra effort on our website to provide you with many clear quality photos. You will not find any mismatched colors or vinyl letters with raised edges in these photos. Our paint colors are exact matches to factory originals and any and all graphics are straight.

4. Insulation New insulation is cut to the exact dimensions of the original insulation inserts and thus fits the newly painted machine shell, and the doors to the machine. The insulation is properly installed in the correct areas making absolutely sure not to over-pack and reduce the R-Factor of the insulation.
5. Powder Coating and Replacing Galvanized Metal Panels The inside tank liner and door liners are first inspected for condition. Galvanized metals with even the smallest imperfections are replaced with a duplicate. Some restoration companies powder coat the original liners, leaving the imperfections in the original liners. Not only is this a cosmetic nightmare, but the holes and pits in the liner leak water into the insulation of the machine. This leak will become apparent to the customer when the paint starts popping off around the base of the machine in about 5 to 10 years. We specialize in the reproduction and restoration of cabinet liners made of galvanized stainless, painted steel and copper. The copper liners, when finished, are really breath-taking to the eye. Copper liners were popular in the 40’s and 50’s inside Artcraft Coolers. Galvanized panels, inside mechanics, racks, shelves, etc. that pass inspection, are powder coated in the brightest chrome available today, and then clear coated in powder coat. Rack rockers and moving structures are powder coated in bright gold and chrome as seen in the photos of the VMC 88. This provides a nice contrast in colors. Old door liners are usually dented, bent, rusty or rotten, so we use reproduced door liners that are made of shiny new metal and then powder coated. New door liners can also be fabricated out of polished stainless. We even powder coat the evaporator cover or refabricate the outer evaporator shell.

6. Chrome and Replating We chrome everything. If the hinges on the side of the machine are tack-welded on, they are removed, chromed, and reattached. There is nothing worse than having a new paint job on a machine only to have a hinge weld break. It happens. We don’t use plastic trim to replace metal trim. Any metal trim on the side of the machine is reproduced out of metal and reattached. We correctly reproduce missing stainless bottle opener bezels and coin entry bezels out of polished stainless and reattach, as seen in the photos of the C 51 and Pepsi Cola Deep Freeze. We also have actual chrome trim for upright machines that bolts to the machine like the original – not stuck-on aluminum. We chrome all metal bottle openers, handles, latches, hinges, door plugs, cranks and/or rollers, locking bars, flag mechanisms, brackets, etc. We even chrome the coin mechanism case. Some late 50’s and early 60’s electric coin mechanisms come with polished stainless, chrome covers. Chrome coin mechanisms set the machine apart from the rest as seen in the photo restoration of the VMC 7-UP. Our company restores the actual electric vintage metal coin changers for round top Cavalier or Vendolator machines. Most restoration companies slip a plastic coin mechanism in your Cavalier96 or C-72. This is not historically correct. Smaller parts of the slug rejecter are plated in gold and silver. Glass bottle door hinges are also chromed. At the customer’s request, we can chrome the bottle door cap catcher on uprights and lid supports on chest coolers. Plastic door handles are replaced with chrome metal handles on Cavalier machines. Some restoration companies plate, polish or paint coin door supports, lenses, brackets, etc. We chrome everything. See the Cavalier 72 coin door photos. If your machine has a bottom kick plate that does not get covered by polished stainless, it is chromed. A reproduced base plate available for a Cavalier C 51 is chromed. See our clear and detailed photos of the C 51 and CS 72 machines.

7. Replacement Parts There are companies that reproduce identical new replacement parts for your soda machine. Not just some but all of these new identical reproduction parts available for your machine are purchased and installed. The same is true for decals inside the cabinet. We also replace all breaker strips, gaskets, glass, rubber, light bulbs, starters, ballasts, door liners, door liner decals, switches, clips, feet, rollers, insulation, springs, drains, relays, etc. Here again is where we separate the men from the boys. Antiquities Vending Company reproduces a great deal of rollers, panels, rack supports, trim around the bottle openings, hinges, bezels, door liners, tank liners, etc. These parts, which are not found in the normal parts catalogs, have been produced for the vending side of our company. All of these parts were reproduced not only to scale, but they were improved upon during remanufacturing. See the photos of the replacement rollers reproduced for the Cavalier C51 or the drum cover for the Jacobs 26. When Cavalier C51 machines were first produced in the 1950’s, their rollers turned on plastic grommets. The rollers were hollow and flimsy. The plastic centers cracked, gummed-up, and caused the belt to drag. Later-model C51 machines used a better designed roller which incorporated a ball bearing center. We reproduced the late model roller and gave it a solid inside core for increased strength and balance. When spun by hand, this roller will free spin for 21 seconds on its support rod. We reproduce condensing area panels for the walls of chest coolers. This is where our room of machines comes in handy.
If your machine has a missing or broken grill, panel, roller, or gear, chances are we’ve already reproduced it. Some machines always turn up with the same mechanical parts on the brink of malfunction or missing. All new, historically correct parts are included when a machine is completely restored by us. Keep in mind that the replacement of certain parts with reproduction parts that are not identical to the original part on certain machines is not recommended. Some 30’s and 40’s rare model machines were built by hand. Motors and gear boxes and refrigeration systems were custom built for a specific machine. In those cases we always rewind, rewire, replate and rebuild by hand the original motor, parts, etc., we provide the customer with an oilier and care instructions. See photos of Mills 45. We restored the original rack motor and fan motor down to the brass tag. Mills 45 machines (seen in our photos) were produced for only one year before the war. They are very rare machines. It is very important to us that your machine, no matter how rare, preserves its individuality during the restoration. Any and all instructional decals, paper tags, and metal tags that were placed on your machine when it was new out of the crate are returned to your machine. We reproduce on our own several paper tags, schematics, instructional and wiring decals that are not currently available through decal suppliers, but are essential when restoring your machine to its new from the crate state. Decal suppliers do not currently reproduce some compressor and refrigeration tags and stickers and most restoration companies leave these out of a restoration. We currently reproduce everything from the instruction plate on the drum of a Vendo 39 to the loading instructions on the Jacobs Pepsi Cola 56. These are reproduced on an as-needed basis for each "best in the world" restoration. Your machine will literally be restored from head to toe to tag.

8. Reassembly It is very important that the machine is reassembled using only the best cosmetically and structurally correct stainless steel screws. Any wood structures of the machine should be restored and stained. All screws should be straight and flathead screws should be turned alike. Photos should be taken during this process and submitted to the customer.
9. Refrigeration This category is our specialty. Here again, our attention to detail runs away from the pack. Our focus is to restore your machines actual refrigeration system to better than new condition without sacrificing all the neat distinguishing characteristics that directly affect your soda machine’s value and rarity. The antique refrigeration system itself should be treated with the same respect as the antique machine it belongs in. Every effort is made to preserve your refrigeration systems vintage appearance and characteristics during its restoration. If you have ever been to an antique car show and meet, you know that most everyone wants to see under the hood. When you open the hood on a 1953 restored or original Hudson Hornet you expect to see the big Twin-H-Power race car engine with the two red kettle-like carburetors staring you in the face. What is good for the GOOSE is good for the GANDER and your antique soda machine is no different. With all of today’s technological breakthroughs, restoring your original refrigeration system to better than new condition, preserving much if not all of its character, historic content and antique appearance and placing a 4 year warranty on that restored antique unit is a piece of cake. Don’t turn your antique soda machine into a STREETROD. Some restoration companies today purchase a modern solid black lower deck refrigeration system that has no antique appearance or value. Their restoration or replacement for a better word-of your machine refrigeration system involves rotating this new modern unit until it lines up with something to bolt to in your machine or they just drill a few extra holes. The new lower deck is connected to the upper deck and may or may not have a liquid line filter installed. It is hard to call that process a restoration. Most of the wiring on these modern replaced systems is usually tied up with bright white plastic wire ties which were not even invented in 1950. Your original Art deco condenser fan motor mount in your Vendo-81, your original base plate with its original manufactures tag and paper schematic tags, your original condenser on your Vendo-39 will all be discarded or even worse saved by the restorer until sold for $125.00 on eBay.
Some restoration companies discard or sell your original evaporator and equipment. Your antique refrigeration system was specifically engineered by its manufacturer to efficiently cool your specific vintage soda machine. Cabinets were vented in specific areas around their base to allow the transfer of pre-calculated amounts of heat. Each and every different type and model of antique soda machine has its own type and model antique refrigeration system with its own unique distinguishing characteristics. Every effort must be made to preserve your refrigeration systems and soda machines individuality, character and value. Our company disassembles your original refrigeration down to the original base plate. Your base plate will then be sandblasted and repainted with the original metal ID tags left intact. We will restore or replace your original condenser and cardboard shroud with an identical reproduction or new old stock replacement. The Original Art Deco fan motor support bracket will be sandblasted and painted. Our company reproduces and installs all original paper service tags, wiring schematics, warning and vintage checklist tags that would have been found on your refrigeration when it was new in the crate in 1950. All fan motors will be replaced with new identical reproduction motors. Identical replacements are still in production today for most models. All fan blades will be replaced with identical reproduction replacements. All rare fan motors will be restored, rewound and their cases and Identification tags restored. All upper connecting lines will be replaced with identical replacements and then clear coated to preserve their bright finish .
Why do we not use 134A Freon? Can you remember back 13 years ago when your car air conditioner really froze you out? I had an ’87 model AMC that would actually kick out a flake of ice once in a while. That was back in the day when soda machines and super sports shared the same Freon – R-12. Automobile air conditioners today use 134A instead of R-12. These new automobile air conditioner systems that run on 134A do not get as cold on hot summer days. 134A can corrode certain parts in vintage automobile air conditioning systems as well as your vintage soda machine equipment over time. I can also tell you that vintage R12 equipment and 134A do not mix. In order to incorporate straight 134a into your system, you should replace your system and then there is no guarantee that it will ever cool as effectively or efficiently as R12. A few years back a new blended R-12 friendly Freon burst on the scene, called RB276. This Freon is absolutely wonderful. It actually contains R-12 and 134A in a blend. This Freon works well with new and vintage rebuilt compressors and vintage evaporators and condensers. The sky is really the limit today. RB276 cools fast, reminding me a lot of R-12. Over the last 15 years, Antiquities Vending Company has operated vintage equipment using R-12, 134A conversions, MP139 Freon and RB276. By far our vintage and restored equipment containing RB276 runs circles around our 134a conversion systems. RB276 is specifically engineered to be a direct drop in for antique R12 refrigeration systems. 134A was not engineered for these antique machines and we see no reason to try to burn a wet mule. With a specially selected new thermostat that will be installed in your restored machine, your sodas will turn into mush ice when the bottle is decapped.
We will install a new low-noise compressor and a high-capacity liquid line filter on each system during restoration. With all new motors, blades, wire, compressor, shrouds, thermostat, relays, nuts, bolts, and paint, you now have a better than new refrigeration system with a vintage appearance and a four-year warranty. Our restored vintage refrigeration system directly and correctly fits and bolts into your antique machine in its factory correct position. It would be cheaper and less labor intensive for us to drill extra holes in the bottom of your antique soda machine and install a generic pre-fabricated square block refrigeration system with big gaudy outlet boxes surrounded in conduit tubing. We could keep your old unit and sell it on eBay for $300. When compared to a modern machine of today, your antique machine would then look no different. Did you know that an original refrigeration unit for a Mills 45 brings $500? Did you know that an original Vendo 81 evaporator is worth $125? Antiquities Vending Company is the only full service refrigeration restoration antique vending company in the world that dedicates its entire facility to restoring only vintage refrigeration equipment. Last year our company restored on average one antique refrigeration system a day.
Our Company is the only antique soda machine and refrigeration restoration company on or off the internet that is licensed by the state to practice refrigeration. Let our company restore your antique refrigeration system mechanically and cosmetically preserving its antique appearance. 10. Whip Cream and a Cherry Well, we’ve covered everything, I think, from 1-9, but there must be a "10". The 10 is really the best part! With each chocolate covered cherry restoration, you get a copy of the original owner’s manual for the machine along with any other paperwork that we personally reproduced and pertain to your model machine. We also completely stock your machine with glass bottle sodas. (Choose from 40 flavors!)
You also get a padded cover which is sewn to perfectly fit your vending machine or chest. All covers are sewn to your specific machine and sport a front patch with your model number embroidered into the colorful patch.
You also receive a complete photo history album of the complete restoration of your machine.
Last but not least, we send you an actual drink rack to match the colors of your upright vendor or chest. Each drink rack is custom built to accommodate not only empty bottles, but also bags of chips and crackers.
We also will return to you your original identification tag that gives all the important information concerning your machine. These tags are just as rare as the machine because often antique machines turn up missing their original tags. These tags contain the serial number, model number, company address, company name, etc. These tags are kind of like a company’s signature. These tags should never be lost and should always be retained with your machine. The information on these tags can be used by collectors to date your machine. Certain letters behind model numbers signify engineering, or cosmetic changes for that particular model’s production run. Some companies will restore your machine and discard your original tag. Sometimes those companies stamp their own company name, phone number, etc. on a reproduction tag and then actually attach this tag to your machine. We do not do this.
Did you know, a machine that is one of seven in existence today was restored by a company and the tag was lost? Only 50 of these machines were produced and each machine was given a number from 1 to 50. It’s true! Would you believe that there exists a Vendo 81 in the world today with a serial number of 001? That is true as well. In fact, the machine was sold, and the new owner just happened to look at the serial number on the tag. Needless to say, he was a pretty happy camper having purchased the 1st Vendo 81 produced in history.

25 points for you to consider
1. Antiquities Vending Company will not be undersold. Compare the price of our world’s best restoration to others. For example, our restoration of a Vendo-81 or Cavalier 72 is only $4000.00. You may purchase a machine from our company through Ebay already restored or have us restore your personal machine. We have local shipping companies who are able to transport your purchased machine from door to our door for its restoration. Restored - Screen Printed - No Decals Cavalier C-96- Click here!
Close up of Cavalier 72 - Screen Printed and Chromed - UV light protected!- Click here!
2. Your machine is completely disassembled. All inside and outside liners, cabinets, trays, racks, rockers, cams, covers, panels, mechanisms, etc are sandblasted. Inside parts are sandblasted a second time before chrome powder coat is applied. Damaged inside liners and shelves are replaced with identical reproductions. We work close with two machine shops in our area reproducing brilliant exact replacement copper, galvanized, steel and polished stainless tank liners, shelves, cover plates, vented sides, panels, door backs, etc. We replace damaged dented galvanized panels with new shiny replacements. These steel or galvanized identical replacement panels and parts can then be powder coated for the customer at no additional charge.
3. We use only the best premium paint and wood stains. We use the best base coat – clear coat money can buy. We have exactly matched all our color shades against from the factory vintage mint original upright and chest soda machines. We currently preserve over 700 vintage machines in house for their historic content.
4. Coin Mechanisms: We chrome and plate your machine's metal coin mechanism. It is about 4 times more expensive for our company to Chrome your coin mechanism over having your mechanism totally plated. How else can you be the best in the world?
5. During our best restoration, all upright, round top, Cavalier, Glasco, Vendolator, soda machines currently receive a METAL COIN MECHANISM. These machines are not historically correct with a plastic coin mechanism. We restore / chrome and plate these historically correct changers and include them with our best restoration at no extra charge.
6. During our best restoration, we replace 100% of all parts on your antique soda machine when identical reproduction replacement parts are available in and out of house. Your machine will not only look new from the crate, it will be new from the crate.
7. During our best restoration, we restore to perfect the original stainless steel trim on your vintage soda machine. Where the stainless is missing or damaged beyond repair, we replace with real chromed metal and reattach correctly using threaded shafts and fasteners. Where the customer prefers metal trim between colors on two color machines, real chrome again is used. We never use plastic chrome or STICK on metal or aluminum during our best restoration. (decorative metal applied to machine using double stick tape is not used! - we fabricate our own metal strips, have them chromed and they bolt to machine like the original metal strips)
8. We offer a four-year warranty on our restored antique soda machines again at no extra charge. No other company on or off the Internet currently matches this!!
9. We do not use vinyl lettering during our restoration process. Vinyl lettering is not historically correct to the machine. We return each machine’s outer shell back to its original state with PAINT ONLY. All embossed letters as well as un-embossed letters are screened on during the painting process to its factory correct size and color using factory correct procedures. On the outer cabinet of our restored machines, all the lettering you see is painted. This eliminates having different shades of the same color on one machine. All letters are completely and historically correct in color and size, and will stand against the elements.
10. Each Best Restoration includes a FREE CHIP, CRACKER, or SODA RACK floor display that can be used for snacks or empty bottles and will cosmetically match and compliment your vintage restored soda machine.
11. With our best in the world restoration, you will receive your restored upright, chest cooler, or vintage soda bar fully stocked with GLASS BOTTLE SODAS. For example, a VICTOR three-door soda bar arrives full of over 300 pounds of sodas. No other company on or off the Internet currently matches this offer.
12. We restore all antique soda machines, not just the more popular, more profitable, or easier restorations. We restore vintage refrigerators and flake Ice machines. We restore your machine from head to toe to tag. We reproduce original service men, refrigeration schematic, wiring schematic, brand, model, manufactures, paper tags and labels that were attached to your Vintage machine by the Manufacturer before the machine was shipped to the original bottling, vending, Distribution Company. These tags, etc are reproduced from original examples we have accumulated over the years. No other company on or off the Internet currently offers this.
13. Each completely restored machine is returned to the customer sporting a custom sewn to fit padded protective cover with a large matching professionally stitched logo. No Extra Charge.
14. In some cases when you compare vintage soda machines of the same model, manufacturer or type you find mechanical differences or improved parts inside these machines from early production runs to a later production runs. One example of this is the Cavalier model-51. The Cavalier C-51 uses a long 51-cavity snake-like belt system to transport 6.5oz Coca Cola bottles one behind the other to the Vending Door. This belt glides on one star like sprocket and four piano roll like galvanized rollers. Early model Cavalier C-51 machines used a version of this roller with a black plastic center. These centers cracked and bogged the belt system down making it harder for the belt to rotate from vending position to vending position. I have actually seen original C-51’s where the roller does not rotate at all. The belt drags across the frozen roller during operation eating into the rollers outer surface as metal grinds against metal. When these rollers are removed they usually fall apart. They were made Cheap to start with. They resemble a hollow paper towel like structure held together with metal fold down tabs and saucers on each end. Later model C51 rollers were improved. The plastic centers were replaced with ball bearing metal centers. Our Company operated Cavalier C51 machines in the early 90’s in service on our vending route and the plastic center rollers were a big problem for us. My main concern was the wear and tear on the belt itself as it scraped its way around the machine. These mechanical belts do not grow on trees. Our Company removed an original ball bearing roller from a late model C-51 machine and sent it into the machine shop to have it identically reproduced and improved. Our company has today an exact reproduction roller that is cosmetically the same as the original rollers of the late 1950’s era with a ball bearing center. This new Roller has not only a much brighter metallic finish than its 1950’s predecessor; it has been reproduced with a solid core inside for increased strength and balance. When spun this roller will rotate on its axis for over 21 seconds until it comes to a complete stop. Today we reproduce the improved versions of several different rollers, gears, drum covers, clamps, tank liners, door liners etc for CAVALIER, VENDO, VENDOLATOR, JACOBS, WESTINGHOUSE, KELVINATOR, MILLS machines, etc. We keep in house several original lock and key assemblies, Chicago key codes, which allows us to have re-cut original keys that historically match your rare machine or hard to find lock mechanism. We have a reproduction in the works for the bubbler water fountain and we currently reproduce rolling carts for all machines and soda bars. We have a reproduction replacement for Cavalier and VENDOLATOR upright machine rollers and they come painted or chromed. Any improved parts that our company currently reproduces will be included with your completely restored antique machine free of charge.

23. Antiquities Restoration Company is the only refrigeration service company in the world today that completely dedicates all of its resources toward the restoration of vintage equipment. Our Company returns your vintage refrigeration to its factory correct state and color. We restore each refrigeration system by hand, leaving the original metal tags intact and replacing missing manufactures paper tags, schematic tags, warning tags, etc. We replace all motors fan blades thermostats, compressors, damaged condensers, filters, start relays, rubber, bolts, capacitors, wire, nuts, bolts, Refrigerant, etc. We use only RB276-refrigerant which is engineered for R12 Vintage refrigeration systems. The vending side of our company operated a few antique upright soda machines in service in the 90’s that were converted to 134a refrigerant. The machines we had in service that still had their original R12 refrigerant systems seemed to work better, get colder, and cool faster. Diehard 134A fans have told us in the past that if a antique refrigeration is converted to 134a and then fails after about 5 years, it was probably on its way out anyway from its age. We still have today 50-year-old - R12 original equipment working in service as well as 50-year-old- R12 equipment running with the New RB276-blend refrigerant. All of the 134a conversions from the mid 1990’s- have failed. We see some of the same wonderful characteristics in RB276 that we saw in R12 several years ago. Our warranty on our refrigeration systems is twice that of other restoration companies for our best machine restoration and our price is near half the cost. Your restored refrigeration system will perform as good as new, keep your soda pop mush ice cold, and bolt correctly back into your machine. We restore your machines refrigeration system while preserving your refrigeration’s historical distinguishing characteristics, content, and vintage appearance.
24. WE SELL THE BEST AND SERVICE THE REST. Because we understand the workings of all vintage soda machines in any condition, we can also be of assistance to you if you purchased an improperly restored machine from another restoration company.

Vintage Soda Machines are not reproduced today - In otherwords they are a wonderful investment and hold their value even in the worst economy.
These vintage vendors are strong and reliable. Our company restores the actual antique machine returning it to its full glory. These machines were manufactured years ago - we restore and do not reproduce the vintage vendor. These vintage machines are all going on fifty and one hundred years old.
Most of these machines are 1/4 HP machines or greater. They are not as quiet as today's refrigerators designed for in home use. These machines were designed to operate in public places. We make them as quite as possible and they run smooth when they leave our facility. Place these vendors on rubber and fabric small mats in your home. These mats are readily available at your local Hardware store for around $10.00. Doing this helps reduce noise and protects your floor from moisture and dust which collects under the vendor due to the ever changing hot and cold metal surfaces of the operating vintage vendor. Heated Drip pans and cloth mats can be provided by our company with your cherry restored vendor upon request. If leaving home for vacation or leaving your vendor in a vacation home, it is ok to unplug your vending machine for as long as needed. These restored vendors are not like automobiles. They will function normally as soon as you plug them back in upon your return home. These vendors are built like tanks and will remain in pristine condition as the day you bring them home if stored unplugged or even operating. They are not like pinball machines and vintage arcades or even new arcade machines. These soda vendors have few mechanical problems if any and can take more abuse than most vintage or even new collectable machines.

Vendorlator 44 Paint restored correctly using original factory process - not hand lettering - Hand lettering is terrific when done correctly however a different style of paint must be used to hand letter vs sprayed paint. Paint used to letter vs paint sprayed on the machine will age overtime at different rates and react in different ways to UV rays as well as other destructive elements like cleaning solutions. Paint applied by hand naturally is applied thicker in some areas than others. Some letters or portions of letters may show their age before others over time. "
